Step Back in Time 

The Arizona Renaissance Festival is an annual event held in the picturesque hills of Gold Canyon, Arizona. The festival is a lively and immersive experience that transports visitors back in time to the 16th century, allowing them to enjoy the sights, sounds, and activities of a Renaissance-era village.  

The festival is held rain or shine, Saturdays, Sundays, and Presidents Day Monday from February 3 – March 31st. No pets allowed. 

Arizona Renaissance Festival’s Historical Charm 

The festival recreates a fictional 16th-century village named “Fairhaven.” Visitors are encouraged to dress in period costumes, such as Renaissance-era attire, as they enter a delightful and immersive journey into the past. Faire-goers will be charmed by the artsy craftsmanship and culinary delights on display as well as the non-stop events and attractions. 

The Faire Experience 

The Arizona Renaissance Festival is one of the most interactive and immersive entertainment shows in the United States. Boasting a unique mix of comedy, music, and raucous revelry performed on 16 stages every event day. Faire-goers can marvel at circus performers and jousting knights on horseback, dress the part for the costume theme of the week, go on a pub crawl, enter a costume contest, eat like a king, play games of skills, and so much more! 

The Immersive Renaissance Experience 

Attendees can engage in interactive experiences, such as games, demonstrations, and workshops. Learn about historical crafts, archery, and other Renaissance-era activities. Test your target shooting skills with a bow or crossbow, storm the castle in a paintball battle, show your warrior side by throwing an axe, or even throwing a tomato at an insulting peasant at Vegetable Justice. As the festival is family-friendly, there are rides and attractions for children of all ages to enjoy as well.

Feast your way through a diverse selection of Renaissance-inspired food and drinks, browse through arts and craft stalls, then follow where the music leads you.
